Preparing A Fed Ex Shipment Online

When preparing a Fed Ex shipment online please fill in the following:

Saved Senders OR Contact ID – your name OR who at PB asked you to ship it

Your Reference – something that help you remember what and who, for instance: Costco Online, Misto Box, USDA Monthly Invoice, Customer Name

Department No. – (no need to duplicate what you put in Your Reference field) use it for PB Foodservice, Coffee, PB-AWG, etc.

Invoice No. – if we billed the customer for the cost of shipment then put the Invoice Number from Sage.

There is also a field for P.O. No.  that you can add some details for identifying.

Don’t make yourself crazy over this, we just want to be able to track our Freight Expenses with FedEx.

Double check the Shipping Label to make sure the information you want to show on it is what you expected.

If there is anyone else on your staff that handles fedex online shipments make sure they know the process.
